KUALA LUMPUR: TV3 is presenting a special talk show, titled 'Eksklusif Bersama Joko Widodo Presiden Republik Indonesia' at 9pm tonight.
The republic's seventh president will be discussing issues relevant to Asean in the one-hour programme, apart from sharing a peek into his personal daily life, according to a press statement released yesterday.
He will also be sharing his perspective on the diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Indonesia; the political upheaval in Myanmar and economic recovery in the region.
The politician, who is also popularly known simply as Jokowi, was also responsible in taking the lead when the country was chosen for the Chair of Asean last year.
The host of the programme, Fiza Sabjahan, and the team had the opportunity to record the special interview with the 61-year-old statesman at Istana Merdeka, the official presidential palace in Central Jakarta, Indonesia.
Jokowi also chose to film some segments of the show at the popular shopping destinations for tourists in the city such as Pasar Tanah Abang and Indonesia's first ever shopping mall Sarinah Mall.
