KUALA LUMPUR: The recent royal wedding of Brunei's Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Mateen Bolkiah and Pengiran Anak Isteri Dayang Anisha Rosnah has attracted worldwide attention for various reasons.
Among them are the jewellery bedecking the 29-year-old bride throughout the 10-day festivities which started on Jan 7.
On Sunday, the festivities continued with the bride and groom being celebrated at a wedding reception and procession.
While the 32-year-old prince was wearing a military uniform for the day, Dayang Anisha wore a white gown, accessorised with a blinding set of jewellery studded with diamonds the size of a fairly huge rock.
On top of her veil, Dayang Anisha wore a diamond tiara previously worn by Pengiran Anak Puteri 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah, Abdul Mateen's sister who got married last year.
The bride also wore matching statement earrings and rings.
The most stunning of all is the diamond necklace, matched with a huge pendant.
Dayang Anisha also carried a small bouquet, made from matching precious metal and gemstones.
The wedding celebrations are set to continue with a glamorous banquet tonight.
Abdul Mateen is the Sultan's fourth son and 10th child.
He has accompanied his father on official royal engagements, including King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation in May, 2023 and Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September, 2022.
The couple has reportedly been dating for a few years, and the Sultan announced their engagement last October.
The bride is the granddaughter of the Sultan's special advisor, Pehin Datuk Isa.
