KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Anna Jobling was pleasantly surprised to learn that among her many fans, is none other than a princess from the Brunei royal household.
In a news report today, the 23-year-old artiste said she had the opportunity to meet with the Sultan of Brunei's princess, Pengiran Anak Puteri Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah, when she was on a tour to meet her fans in the country recently.
"On the first day there, my manager informed me that the princess would like to meet up with me.
"Honestly speaking, I was surprised that she even knew of my existence at all," said Anna.
She added that they finally met the following day, when the 16-year-old princess, whose mother was former newsreader Azrinaz Mazhar Hakim, turned up at an event at a hotel there.
"When she arrived, she walked up to me and gave me a hug.
"I felt honoured, as according to our contacts there, even Bruneians rarely get a glimpse of the princess in person," shared Anna, adding that they ended up spending a couple of hours having 'girl talk'.
