KUALA LUMPUR: With just a few days left for him to compete at the 38th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL 38), vocalist of Masdo band, Ali Sariah is reportedly down with fever and a coughing bout since last Saturday.
'Harian Metro' recently quoted the 31-year-old singer as saying he had anticipated such a situation, but hoped that everything would turn out fine.
"I'm a little nervous now, seeing that there are only few days left before AJL," said Ali, who was also down with fever and cough before the band's performance in Manchester on Feb 25.
"I had already sought treatment and been taking medicine. Hopefully I'll be able to perform this Sunday."
Masdo will be performing the song 'Inilah Jalannya', a song they composed with Noh Salleh, which many predicted to emerge as this year's winner.
