KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV producer Datuk A Aida who has blacklisted controversial actress Ruhainies from appearing in her works has provided some solace to troubled actress Bella Astillah.
The 53-year-old producer, whose real name is Zaidah Awang, has offered Bella three new drama contracts from her company A Aida Productions, Hlive reported today.
The move was described as a way to support Bella and to help the actress to continue with her career as an artiste.
The three offers were for the drama series Elham Untuk Niam, Matahariku and Move On Romeo.
All three productions are set to begin filming throughout the year.
Bella has been embroiled in an alleged adultery case involving her Singaporean actor husband Aliff Aziz who was caught for khalwat with fellow drama co-star Ruhainies by the religious authorities last Saturday.
Aliff and Ruhainies were the leads in the currently filming OrangeTree Productions drama Terjerat made for the streaming platform iQIYI, which also starred Bella.
Following the fiasco, the actress decided to withdraw from the production recently.
Previously, A Aida had announced that she had blacklisted Ruhainies, whose full name is Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas, from acting in her productions in the future.
According to her, the decision was made in order to set an example for other artistes.
Bella is currently undergoing the dissolution process with Aliff after filing for divorce at the Federal Territory Syariah Court in Jalan Duta, here on Monday.
