KUALA LUMPUR: Actor and singer, Aliff Aziz, 33, sent his birthday wishes to fellow artiste and close friend Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas or Ruhainies recently.
The actress, who celebrated her 32nd birthday on Saturday, also received a bouquet of red roses from Aliff as a gift.
Aliff shared this in an Instagram Story in which he also apologised to Ruhainies and prayed that she would always be happy.
"Happy birthday to you and may you receive many blessings and happiness on this special day.
"God willing, may God reward you for all the good things you do. Forgive me for everything that has happened," he wrote.
The message was accompanied by emojis of red roses and doves and a picture of Aliff with Ruhainies taken when they were filming the drama, Terjerat, in which they starred together.
It is understood that the two have been friends for the past 10 years.
On March 9, Aliff and Ruhainies became a hot topic, especially on social media, after they were caught cheating in a luxury residence in the capital by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi).
Their case is still being heard at the Federal Territories Syariah High Court, here.
Earlier, Aliff legally divorced his ex-wife and fellow aritste Bella Astillah on July 14.
They have two children, Ayden Adrean, 7, and Ara Adreanna, 4.
