KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Rita Rudaini denies that she has cut off any chances for her children from meeting their father, footballer Aidil Zafuan Abdul Razak.
The 47-year-old artiste shared this when interviewed on TV3's entertainment programme, Melodi, which aired yesterday.
She also insisted that she had never taught her sons – Airit Rayyan Rizqin, 15; and Airit Qaqa Arjuna, 13 – to hate their father, as alleged by some netizens.
"They're both older now and can make up their own mind. Once, I asked Rayyan if he would meet his father if he (Aidil) suddenly wanted to see him, but he said he wouldn't.
"I can't force him (to meet his father if he doesn't want to)," shared Rita, who added that Aidil had done nothing more than fathered them.
Rita also hoped netizens would be more sensitive to her children and stop asking any more questions related to Aidil.
Rita and Aidil married in 2008, but they divorced in September of 2013.
