KUALA LUMPUR: The sister of singer Adira Suhaimi has taken to social media to express her displeasure and dissatisfaction with a certain "someone".
"When you borrow money from someone else, you talk about it. But when you borrow money from me, you don't say anything, so much so my children are traumatised," said the sister of singer Adira Suhaimi, Emma Suhaimi, in an Instagram story post about 'someone' who borrowed money from her.
Although there was no mention of any names, the message was uploaded after Adira's husband, Datuk Seri Adnan or popularly known as Datuk Red, shared about his hardships in life and having to borrow RM100 from Adira to buy iftar meals for his children.
"We've even sold land to help him. It's ok, Allah is there. The time will come where everything will be uncovered," she wrote.
According to Emma, she had discussed it with Adira and did not like to upload social media posts to seek attention.
However, when her sister became a victim of bullying after Datuk Red's statement was released, she sprang to action to defend her sister.
"Sorry, netizens, this fasting month, I can't hold it in. I've discussed this with my sister. We don't post just to seek attention.
"But, it's like pinching the left thigh, where you feel it on the right thigh too. You can get in touch with me, no more hiding now. Let me speak up. Don't bully my sister.
"In the past, you could intimidate her with your words. Now, come and meet her with me," she said.
In the same post, Emma also shared that she and her sister cried when they watched Datuk Red's expressing about the hardship he was enduring in the video.
"Yesterday, she cried watching her husband's video, although she tried not to show it. I cried as well. We do understand the hardship that the person is going through," she said.
