#SHOWBIZ: Adira denies cohabiting with Datuk Red

KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Adira Suhaimi denies rumours that she is still living with her former husband Datuk Seri Adnan Abu a.k.a. Datuk Red.

In a news report yesterday, the 33-year-old said that Adnan was always seen at her house because he would pop by to do live sessions to help promote their business together.

"I'm still a single mother and no, we're not staying in the same house anymore (since the divorce in April).

"I live with my family. There are 16 of us in the house.

"So even if he were to be in the house, there would be others in the house too.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen," she said.

Adira added that people should watch the entire live session conducted by them together before making any conclusion.

"I just wanted to help him, and sometimes, he would drop by to visit our children.

"Actually, it's very rare for us to do live sessions together, as I know that it could easily lead to some misunderstanding and speculations out there."

When asked if they were going to reconcile, Adira said she didn't want to think about that just yet and would only leave it to fate.

They are still on good terms today, all because of their children.

"If it happens, it happens.

"If not, not a problem. Life has to go on," she said.

Adnan and Adira were married in Songkhla, Thailand on Dec 3, 2015.

However, their nine-year marriage ended in divorce on April 24.

They have four children, Anggrek, 6, Asan, 5, Anggun, 4, and Ayob, 1.
