KUALA LUMPUR: Film producer Gayatri Su-Lin Pillai recently spent Hari Raya Aidilfitri at the family home of actor Zul Ariffin.
She said in an interview with Berita Harian yesterday that Zul's elder sister Hanim invited her for Raya, as was the case in previous years.
"I've always been posting photos of Raya with Zul and his family. In fact we've always been close," she said.
The Infinitus Entertainment Sdn Bhd executive producer, who has long been "romantically linked" to the Sheriff actor, said that she would "not rule out" ending up with him if it was fated by God.
"Ending up together is the will of God. We may or may not end up together, that's all I can say about it," said Gayatri, adding that for now she and Zul were best friends.
When asked about certain netizens who did not like her to end up with Zul, Gayatri said that she was not bothered about such naysayers.
"I'm not bothered about such people. What matters to me is being happy and successful, regardless who my Mr Right is."
