KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Ruhainies made a public apology to fellow artiste Bella Astillah concerning the controversy that has been hounding them.
In an Instagram Stories post early this morning, the 31-year-old scandal-ridden artiste, whose full name is Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas, also hopes to meet with Bella to resolve the situation, according to a Berita Harian report today.
"With full humility, I want to apologise to Bella Astillah for everything that happened. I also want to meet with you to clear the air.
"I also want to close this unfortunate chapter, forget what happened, and be happy again," she wrote.
The entry also answered the question of why Ruhainies had kept quiet on the ongoing controversy all this while.
"I chose to remain silent not to confirm nor deny the situation, but to avoid any altercation on social media, which would also further prolong the issue.
"I also want to apologise to all parties who were impacted by everything that happened," she said.
In a separate post, Ruhainies also expressed an intention for a face-to-face meet-up with Sarah Yasmine, the woman who claimed she was Aliff Aziz's secret lover, for the similar purpose of resolving the issue.
"I also sincerely want to invite Sarah Yasmine to join our meeting to end all the ongoing chaos.
"I hope Bella and Sarah will allow me to meet them," he said.
Previously, Sarah had confessed on social media that she was in a relationship with Singaporean-born actor and singer Aliff, who is Bella's husband.
The woman believed to be a fellow Singaporean, also accused Aliff of being used and manipulated by Ruhainies.
The controversy surrounding ALiff and Bella blew up after he was caught for khalwat with Ruhainies by the religious authorities in a luxury condominium, here last March.
After alleging that Aliff had cheated on her 11 times, Bella filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Syariah Court, here on March 11.
The celebrity couple tied the knot on Sept 9, 2016, and have two children, Mohamad Ayden Adrean, 7, and Ara Adreanna, 4.
