#Showbiz: Caprice's wife faces backlash for asking a man to kneel and apologise [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: Caprice's wife Farra Inalis' action of asking a young man to kneel and apologise to her has been criticised by netizens who described it as excessive.

This, despite Caprice receiving widespread praise on social media for successfully resolving personal issues.

This comes after Farra, better known as Elis, appeared visibly emotional and unable to contain her anger when the young man compared her two-month-old baby, Airiel Qashaf, to an animal in a direct message (DM) he wrote.

"The husband-wife is 'the purest of them all' to demand kneeling and recording, when it could have been settled through a 'sit-down table talk' without involving others.

"After that, ask the boy to make a public apology. There's no need to record the kneeling part. Case closed. But, well, the husband never did wrong," commented a netizen.

"He shouldn't have knelt, but being dissatisfied, he could have reported it to the police, hired a good lawyer, sued for defamation, and if unable to pay, went to jail. That's easier and doesn't violate Islamic law," said another netizen.

"The approach is okay, if the recording is for personal records, it's fine, but for the public, I disagree. The kneeling part could be skipped," said an online user.

"All acts of worship to Allah are forbidden to be performed on humans or anything else," wrote another netizen.

Earlier, Caprice shared a video of a meeting with a young man known as Irfan from Johor with Elis, at their residence to apologise for the verbal excesses committed.

It is understood that Caprice had previously disclosed several DM screenshots he received from a young man comparing the sensational influencer's baby boy to an animal.
