KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has lent a helping hand to ailing actor and comedian Ebby Yus.
Anwar's political secretary Ahmad Farhan Fauzi paid Ebby a visit at his house yesterday and handed him some monetary assistance for his medical and daily expenses.
"May Ebby Yus stay strong in the face of his hardships. Let us all pray for his health and well-being," said Anwar in an Instagram post yesterday.
Last December, Ebby or Muhammad Yunus Abdul Rashid, 58, underwent a medical procedure to install a pacemaker in his heart.
The veteran actor has been suffering from several ailments including a heart condition over the last few years.
