KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and television presenter Raja Azura Tengku Ahmad Tajudin, or Kak Engku, as she is commonly known, is believed to have tied the knot a second time after being single for 17 years.
The news comes after the 51-year-old actress shared a video of her wedding ceremony on social media.
However, the identity of the groom and details of the wedding ceremony were not revealed.
Only a brief caption accompanied the video posted on the actress' Instagram (IG) page last night.
"Alhamdulillah... I am grateful to Allah for His abundant blessings. May this bond last until Jannah (paradise).
"To those who always prayed for me, from being single, I am now married. Thank you, Allah," she wrote.
Her posting caught the attention of celebrity friends, who were mostly surprised by the revelation.
Among those who wished her well and happiness in the comments section included Janna Nick, Mmi Flyy, Datuk Fizz Fairuz, Azza Elite and film and famed actor and director, Aziz M Osman.
Raja Azura, who is a former Melodi (a TV3 entertainment show) presenter, later posted a photo of herself and her husband dressed in matching dark blue outfits, holding hands with a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, radio presenter Sharifah Shahirah, when contacted, claimed to have no knowledge of her close friend's marriage.
"I don't know because I didn't receive an invitation," she said, as reported by Berita Harian.
As of now, the Malay daily is still trying to get comments from Raja Azura but messages and calls remain unanswered.
This is Raja Azura's second marriage. She was previously married to Adzmin Osman, who is the son of the former Kedah Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Osman Aroff, in March 2001. They divorced on September 28, 2010.
Together, they have three children; Megat Muhammad Raziq, 22, Megat Luqman Hakim, 21, and Puteri Mia Maizura, 19.
