KUALA LUMPUR: World-renowned music maestro A.R. Rahman will be in Malaysia for an exclusive fan-meet event on July 8.
This fan gathering, expected to draw over 1,000 people, is a prelude to his mega concert on July 27 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, here.
The event will accommodate the first 1,000 eligible ticket purchasers.
Redemption for fan meeting passes starts online via www.starplanet.com.my/ARRfanmeet at 5pm on Friday.
Each ticket holder may redeem a maximum of 2 passes, and submission for redemption requires the concert ticket number.
The meeting will take place at the Star Convention Centre, Menara PGRM KL at 7pm on July 8.
Fans can look forward to hear Rahman speak about his musical journey and upcoming projects.
The concert's organiser Star Planet said in a statement yesterday that they were thrilled to welcome Rahman to Kuala Lumpur.

A.R. Rahman Live in Kuala Lumpur 2024 will showcase Rahman's iconic hits enhanced by extraordinary visual and audio production.
Joining Rahman will be an exceptional lineup of singers, including Mano, Srinivas, Sri Rascol, Shweta Mohan, Shakthisree Gopalan, Blaaze, and ADK.
