KUALA LUMPUR: The divorce case between comedian Harith Iskander and his wife, Dr Jezamine Lim, which was supposed to take place at the Federal Territories Syariah Lower Court, Jalan Duta, here on July 15 has been postponed to another date.
The matter was confirmed by the lawyer representing Dr Jezamine, Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader, who added that both sides had been cooperating well throughout the discussion.
"It is now clear that the case does exist. The date had already been set, but it was postponed because the court had other matters. We will inform you of the new date after this.
"Both have been cooperating well. So, wait for the new date to be announced," he said in a Berita Harian report today.
Akberdin was met at the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate's Court, today after the trial of the case involving actor Hafidz Roshdi and his ex-wife, Nurul Shuhada Mat Shukri.
It was reported on July 9 that Dr Jezamine had filed for divorce against her husband.
Harith has kept mum on the matter but said that a statement explaining everything would be released soon.
Harith and Dr Jezamine, 41, tied the knot on June 12, 2010.
The couple are blessed with three children, Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne, 9.
