KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin will be the only solo female artiste at the upcoming Hausboom Music Festival 2024, slated to take place on Oct 5 and 6.
In a Harian Metro report yesterday, the 45-year-old artiste will be performing at the festival organised by Hausboom alongside 31 other artistes and acts, that include Datuk Zainalabidin, Joe Flizzow, Wings, Ruffedge, and Dolla.
"I've worked with them (Hausboom) before, but this will be my first time working with them for a music festival.
"To be invited to perform as one of the guest artistes at events like this wouldn't require a lot of commitment as opposed to performing at a solo concert.
"Fortunately my schedule allows me to be a part of this festival," explained the singer who recently held her sold-out solo concert in Genting Highlands.
Siti said she was invited by the organiser to add colour to the lineup by including songs with traditional elements during performance.
"That's the reason why I said yes to this."
Among others in the lineup for the festival are Senario, Bunkface, Masdo, Iqbal M, Luqman Podolski, No Good, Orkes A Hizadin, Akim & The Majistret, Amir Masdi, Exist, АСАВ, Ruffedge, Skudap Skudip, Armpunk Syndicate, Jemson, Airliftz, Yaph, as well as Indonesian bands Payung Teduh and The Changcuters.
The festival will take place at KL Base.
