KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Iqram Dinzly has denied that he was "poking his nose" into Fara Salleh's personal matters.
In an interview with Harian Metro yesterday he said that he was merely defending his old friend comedian Shuk Sahar, who is Fara's husband.
Fara recently told Iqram off online for "interfering" in her household affairs.
Iqram said: "I have no intention of interfering with my friend's household affairs, but I do not agree with Fara's statement "exposing" Shuk to public ridicule.
"Shuk has never done this to his wife, so it is not fair for her to say such things about him."
Iqram added: "We should not be humiliating our loved ones in public."
Iqram, however, asked the public not to pass judgement on the couple.
"This is a test for their marriage. Every married couple goes through a test.
"We should pray for the best for them," he said.
Iqram recently said on Instagram that netizens should not fully believe what Fara said about Shuk and instead listen to both sides of the story.
Fara recently said that her marriage to Shuk was facing difficulties as he was "attracted to other women".
Shuk denied his wife's allegation and said that he had never exposed her wrongdoings.
Shuk married Fara in November last year.
He was previously married to Rossa Sera for eight years but they divorced on March 22, 2023.
