KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress Elyana Emrizal reminds everyone that she is not a one-stop health centre where people can just message her asking for medical advice.
In a recent Insta-story, the 37-year-old artiste, who had also suffered from stage 4 lymphoma cancer, said: "I'm not a clinic or hospital where everyone can refer to for any health information.
"In fact, I'm also a patient just like you," she said while sounding a little tired of having to deal with the many queries on her social media accounts.
She added that it was taking a toll on her as well, since she was dealing with her own health issues and people seemed to be too demanding when seeking her advice.
"It's tough being me. It seems like people think that I owe them a satisfactory response whenever they need one.
"When I am not able to do that, they'd verbally abuse me, as if I'm not a human being with any emotion. I have my own problems.
"I'm not an angel."
Elyana reminded everyone with any health problems to refer to those who are properly qualified and trained medical experts.
In 2017, Elyana revealed that she had been suffering from stage 4 lymphoma cancer since 2010.
In December 2021, she announced that she was cancer-free.
