KUALA LUMPUR: Taiwanese actress Tian Wa recently appeared on TVBS to promote her film, Zhao Dao Chu Nu, which detailed her past relationships with seven men.
8 Days reported yesterday that during the interview, the 72-year-old revealed that she had a 17-year affair with a married man.
At that time, Tian, who has a daughter from a past marriage, was freshly divorced and in search of a new home when the man offered help.
"In addition to assisting with the house, the man, who owned a funeral service company, also provided me with an allowance," she said.
"He loved his family very much. When he went home, I was cut off but when he was outside, he was mine."
The actress further disclosed that the man's wife was aware of their affair, which eventually ended when he chose to focus on his family.
"As for the people who labelled me a 'mistress', I say that the best time of my life was when I was a mistress."
Though that chapter of her life has closed, Tian still enjoys a vibrant love life.
"Many men pursue me and send her messages on Facebook but I only reply if I am interested.
"As for people who send me indecent messages, I block them."
