AFTER the success of her first film in Indonesia, Malaysian actress Anna Jobling is excited to share the good news that she has received three film offers in the republic.
Anna says her involvement in the horror flick, 'Lembayung', has provided much exposure and opened more doors for her.
"I am very moved and grateful for the trust given by the Indonesian film industry.
"After 'Lembayung', I never expected to receive film offers from three different production companies there.
"This is a great opportunity for me to develop my talent and career in Indonesia.
"I hope to provide more quality work, not only for fans in Malaysia, but in Indonesia as well.
"This is a new phase in my career, and I will continue to work hard for greater success," she said in a recent 'Harian Metro' report.
The 24-year-old, Kuala Lumpur-born artiste expressed her gratitude to Indonesian director and actor Baim Wong.
"Baim is not only a talented director, but also a mentor who helped me a lot. I thank him for the opportunity to be involved in such a big project.
"He opened the doors for me to gain 'rezeki' in Indonesia," she said about the 'Lembayung' director.
Jobling shared her experience attending the movie's premiere in Jakarta recently.
"I never imagined such an extraordinary response. The industry players there were very professional and the fans, very loving. They appreciated me a lot. I was happy and grateful.
"I was very moved when the fans also took the time to celebrate my birthday. It was an experience I will never forget."
Jobling said she also got the chance to meet some big names in the Indonesian film industry, such as Christine Hakim, Prilly Latuconsina and Raffi Ahmad.
"Meeting the big wigs like Christine Hakim and Prilly Latuconsina was truly an honour. I am very inspired by their dedication to this industry."
