KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Fattah Amin's recent birthday message to his four-year-old daughter Nur Fatima Aisya has moved many netizens to tears.
Fattah's Instagram message to Fatima yesterday read: "Happy birthday to my dearest daughter Nur Fatima Aisya Abdul Fattah.
"May you grow up healthy and happy into a clever and upright girl who is always under God's protection. Daddy misses you so much."
Fattah's birthday message received more than 60,000 likes and garnered more than 600 comments from netizens.
One of them said: "Happy birthday Fatima. May the bond between father and daughter stay strong come what may."
Last week, Fattah and his actress wife Nur Fazura Sharifuddin attended divorce proceedings at the Subang Bestari Syariah Court.
Fattah said that he was unwilling to divorce his wife and still loved her.
The case has been postponed to Oct 7.
Fattah and Fazura were married on Nov 27, 2017.
