#SHOWBIZ: Cheating, neglecting financial support led to divorce - Fazura [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nur Fazura claimed that her former husband Fattah Amin's cheating and shirking of financial support had led to their divorce.

Fazura, 41, also alleged that she lived a miserable life caused by the famous actor's irresponsible behaviour, which pushed her to file for a divorce.

"This decision was not made on the spur of the moment. I have been living in misery for many years and have thought long and hard.

"All this time, I took the approach of keeping my mouth shut and not airing any dirty laundry to protect myself, Fattah, and the future of my child, Nur Fatima Aisya.

"Due to immense speculation, I would like to explain here that the first reason for the divorce was Fattah neglecting financial support for me and my child for so long.

"We also have irreconcilable differences, we haven't been happy for a long time. I was depressed, but I persevered.

"The third reason why I can't accept it is that Fattah cheated on me.

"I have evidence that Fattah cheated," she said in a Berita Harian report today.

A teary Fazura was met by the media after the second divorce case proceedings at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam, this morning.

She added: "I have sacrificed a lot for Fattah. I provided accommodation and food and gifted him a Range Rover vehicle for his comfort.

"In this vehicle, Fattah brought along a woman who was haram for him.

"So, the claim that I am not on the same page as Fattah is not true at all.

"I accept Fattah and his family as they are. If we weren't on the same page, I wouldn't have married him to begin with.

"However, all my sacrifices were taken advantage of, which makes me very disappointed. I regret that I sacrificed a lot for him," she said.

Earlier, Fattah and Fazura got a divorce at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court.

Fattah pronounced the single talak for divorce in front of the Syarie Judge, Abdul Malik Soleh at about 9.45 am.

On Sept 13, Fazura filed for divorce against Fattah at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court.

Fattah and Fazura tied the knot on Nov 27, 2017.

They have a daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya, 4.
