KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian actor Baim Wong divorced his wife, Paula Verhoeven, yesterday and the matter was confirmed by his lawyer.
According to CNN Indonesia, the actor who had also acted in Malaysian productions filed for divorce at the Religious Court in South Jakarta, Indonesia.
Speculation about a marital crisis began to intensify in Indonesia following news that Paula recently performed Umrah without Baim present.
They had also been rarely seen together at events recently.
However, the couple has not yet released any official statement.
Baim and Paula tied the knot on Nov 22, 2018, and have two sons, Kiano, 3, and Kenzo, 2.
