KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and singer Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, 41, said that she is currently enjoying a peaceful and fulfilling life as she balances her career and her role as a mother to her 4-year-old daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
Fazura, who finalised a child custody agreement at the Syariah High Court in Shah Alam today, expressed that her sense of calm is a genuine reflection of her feelings.
"My life is honestly calmer and happier now. I'm not trying to show off or make anyone feel a certain way. This is simply how I feel, and I'm grateful to God," she told BH Online.
Following her divorce from actor Fattah Amin on Oct 7, Fazura faced criticism regarding her openness. However, she remains unfazed, acknowledging that others are entitled to their opinions.
"I'm calm about it. People can say what they want – that's their right. My focus is on my own journey, which is between me and God," she said.
Fazura and Fattah, who were married on Nov 27, 2017, are blessed with a daughter, Nur Fatima Aisya.
On her career in Indonesia, Fazura shared that her recent interview in the country was long-planned and hopes it will further her artistic pursuits.
"It was all pre-arranged, and I was just following the schedule that was set. I'm thankful for the opportunities and intend to live life to the fullest," she said.
Fazura's appearance on an Indonesian talk show, where she performed the duet song Bertahan Demi Cinta alone, has sparked a lively discussion online, garnering mixed reactions from fans and viewers alike.
