KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Adira Suhaimi, 33, was hospitalised at a medical centre in Petaling Jaya after fainting at home yesterday.
Adira, whose real name is Siti Adira Suhaimi, revealed that doctors diagnosed her with a high fever and low red blood cell count.
"After Isyak prayers, I suddenly fainted at home. My brothers called an ambulance, and I was rushed to the hospital," she said in a Harian Metro report.
Now in stable condition, Adira is focusing on resting until her fever subsides completely.
She admitted that her recent hectic schedule had taken a toll on her health due to insufficient rest.
The Pujaan Hati singer has canceled several performance commitments but plans to resume her schedule soon.
"So far, the only show I must attend is on Sunday, so I need to recover quickly. Thankfully, other organisers were understanding and allowed cancellations," she added.
Adira urged fans to prioritise health amidst their busy lives.
