#SHOWBIZ: Pianist Maksim brings World Tour Segmenti to Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR: Virtuoso pianist Maksim Mrvica from Croatia is returning to Kuala Lumpur to serve up a pre-Valentine's Day auditory feast.

Organised by Lo-Fi Entertainment, Maksim World Tour Segmenti will serenade music aficionados at Mega Star Arena at 8.30pm on Feb 12 next year.

Lo-Fi said in a statement yesterday that Maksim who will be performing with an orchestra, will present a repertoire of originals and variations from

his latest album Segmenti.

It features popular hits of ABBA and Queen, as well as timeless

classical masterpieces of Chopin, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.

Hailing from Sibenik in Croatia, Maksim took up piano lessons at 9.

He was classically trained at the Zagreb Academy of Music, the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary and the Russian Conservatory Alexander Scriabin in Paris, France.

Through his craft, Maksim continues to leave an impact in the scene and on people across the world.

Able to hit 16 notes in a second, his notable works include Croatian Rhapsody along with

renditions of Flight Of The Bumblebee and themes from Pirates Of The Caribbean, Game Of Thrones and Mission Impossible.
