#SHOWBIZ: Ejen Ali teams up with TNB in movie sequel

KUALA LUMPUR: The highly anticipated Ejen Ali The Movie 2 (EATM2) promises to deliver an action-packed adventure, enhanced by an exciting collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

The partnership combines the dynamic world of Ejen Ali with TNB's vision of innovation and sustainability.

The collaboration was unveiled alongside the launch of the movie's official teaser, sparking interest through creative campaigns ahead of its release next year.

According to Media Prima Television Networks & Primeworks Studios CEO, Nini Yusof, the partnership builds on the success of their first film collaboration in 2019.

"We are confident that the innovative world of Ejen Ali is the perfect medium to showcase real-world energy programmes and technologies managed by TNB.

"This will inspire the next generation to embrace smart and sustainable lifestyles," she said in a recent statement.

Director of EATM2 and WAU Animation CEO, Usamah Zaid Yasin, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in his team.

"This collaboration not only brings Ejen Ali back to the silver screen but also delivers an important message in partnership with TNB," he said.

TNB Group head of corporate communications, Samsul Ariffin Zainuddin, highlighted the role of storytelling in driving change and innovation, noting the film's ability to inspire young audiences.

Set in the futuristic city of Cyberaya, EATM2 follows young Ali as he struggles to master Project Satria, Mata's AI-powered armored suit, while facing personal challenges and a rising conspiracy.

The return of the hacker Neonimus adds a thrilling twist to the story, testing Ali's courage and determination.
