Cross-cultural exchange at Iskandar Learning Festival

KUALA LUMPUR The annual Iskandar Learning Festival (ILF) is back for the third year, held till tomorrow.

The event is jointly organised by Iskandar Regional Development Authority in partnership with social enterprise ILFPro and The Iskandarian newspaper. It is held at two main venues —– the Iskandar Malaysia Information Centre at Danga Bay and the JBPAC Black Box and White Box at level 4M of Danga City Mall.

ILF strives to provide everyone an access to world-class learning and content free-of-charge to encourage participants to pursue excellence. It also aims to promote continuous learning and global understanding of cross-cultural and inter-generational exchange.

The idea for this unique project was mooted when stakeholders from public and private sectors in Johor Baru met in 2011 for a 2-day workshop to help develop the Iskandar Malaysia Sustainability Framework model, a look at social responsibility works in Iskandar Malaysia.
