SUNGAI PETANI: Two teenagers who went missing while fishing during an outing at Pantai Merdeka were found this evening.
Sungai Petani Fire and Rescue Department chief operation Yunus Abu said the bodies of Mohd Azami Ahmad Husaini and Mohd Hazwan Shaudin, both 16, were found at 6pm.
Azami and Hazwan were reported missing while fishing with five other friends at about 12pm on Monday.
“The bodies were found about one kilometre from where they were last seen. Both remains were sent to Sultan Abdul Halim hospital for a post-mortem,” he said.
