KUALA LUMPUR: The 90,000-capacity National Stadium in Bukit Jalil will host the AFF Cup final, return leg between Malaysia and Thailand on Dec 20.
“We have inspected the pitch and are satisfied with its condition,” said FA of Malaysia general-secretary Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin after visiting the stadium today.
Hamidin said 90,000 tickets, costing RM50 (adults) and RM10 (children), not including complimentary allocation, will be sold for the match.
“Tickets will be sold online through www.tickethotline.com.my starting tomorrow. Fans can also purchase them at the stadium from Thursday onwards. We have allocated 2,500 tickets to the Thailand FA (TFA) but they have not made a request yet,” he said.
On Malaysia’s allocation for the first leg in Bangkok, Hamidin said TFA has given FAM 2,500 tickets.
“We will issue a press release on our official website (www.fam.org.my) over the purchase of the first leg tickets soon,” Hamidin added.
