KUALA TERENGGANU: More evacuees returned home as the flood situation improved in three districts.
State Welfare Department portal stated that 10,223 victims were seeking shelter at 32 relief centres in Kemaman, Dungun and Kuala Terengganu.
The number of evacuees was reduced from 10,841 people at 38 relief centres in the evening.
Kemaman still has the highest number of evacuees with 5,552 people at 18 relief centres followed by Dungun with 4,490 victims at 13 relief centres.
The portal also said Kuala Terengganu has 181 victims moved to its sole relief centre.
