ALOR STAR: The remaining 51 flood evacuees in the Baling district have been allowed to return home as the situation improved today.
According to the state Flood Disaster Committee Secretariat, the last two temporary flood relief centers (PPS) in Baling were closed at 5pm.
The two PPS were SMK Parit Panjang and Surau Al Barakah Tembak B.
On Wednesday, the secretariat activated eight PPS in Baling district to accommodate over 200 evacuees after more than 12 villages in four sub-districts were inundated by floods.
