KUALA LUMPUR: A retired factory worker was charged at the Sessions Court with inciting 11 underaged boys to commit gross sexual indecency with him over a two-year period.
Noor Din Chaw Fooi pleaded not guilty to committing the 11 offences involving the victims - aged between 8 and 14 - at his home at a condominium unit at Setapak Indah Jaya, Wangsa Maju here, between 2013 and Feb 2015.
The 67-year-old Muslim convert faces a maximum 15-year jail term and whipping if found guilty for the sexual incitement offences.
Noor however pleaded guilty to a single count of possessing indecent material in the form of 32 video compact disc(VCD), a photo album containing pictures of nude people, and three hand phones containing more pictures of naked people.
The elderly accused be jailed up to three years, fined, or sentenced to both penalties if convicted for the indecent material possession offence.
Sessions judge Zulqarnain Hassan denied bail and fixed May 8 for mention of the sexual incitement case and May 18 for sentencing over the indecent material possession case.
