KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak paid his last respects to Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah's late wife, Cik Puan Sri Noor Yvonne Abdullah at 8.30am today.
She passed away while being treated for a rare type of cancer, multiple myeloma, at the Sime Darby Medical Center in Subang Jaya yesterday.
"This is a big loss. Noor Yvonne was not only a good wife, but was very supportive of Razaleigh's career.
"My deepest condolences go out to the rest of the family," Najib said.
The body will be buried at a cemetery in Jalan Ampang before Zohor prayers today.
