KUALA LUMPUR: Hundreds of motorists were caught in hellish traffic at the NKVE-bound stretch of Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang this morning.
The massive gridlock was due to flash floods, which caught motorists off guard and left some sections of the stretch temporarily impassable.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the flood waters had risen from 0.3 metres up to 0.6 metres between 7.30am and 8.20am due to the torrential downpour.
He said the flood lasted for about an hour and receded at 8.20am when the rain eventually stopped.
