GEORGE TOWN: A motorcycle components parts company and three of its female directors were charged in the Sessions Court here this morning with 18 counts of non-declaration of their Goods and Services Tax (GST) over an eight-month period.
Teoh Chin Ching, 65, Teoh Wee Let, 37, and Teoh Evon, 34, directors of Razortech Enterprise Sdn Bhd, claimed trial to the charges before Judge Irwan Suainbon.
They are alleged to have committed the offences at the GST, registration and revenue collection sections of the state Customs Complex in Seberang Jaya at Lot 5492, Jalan Perpustakaan, Lebuh Tenggiri, Seberang Jaya between April and December last year.
They are liable to a maximum RM50,000 fine or three years jail, or both, under Section 41(6) GST Act 2014 upon conviction.
Customs prosecutor Abd Malik Awang Kechik prosecuted, while the three accused were represented by SN Rajan.
Irwan set Nov 17 for mention of the case.
Yesterday, Chin Ching and Wee Let claimed trial to 24 counts of non-declaration of their GST over an eight-month period involving another motorcycle components parts company, Faito Racing Trend Sdn Bhd.
