GEORGE TOWN: A DAP assemblyman's aide was charged at the magistrate's court here today with outraging the modesty of a 21-year-old part time waitress.
L. Prem Anand, 50, pleaded not guilty to the charge of allegedly using criminal force to outrage the modesty of the waitress at a parking lot of an entertainment outlet in Lebuh Pantai at 11.30pm on July 6.

The case was prosecuted by deputy public prosecutor Nurul Izzah Shaharuddin before magistrate Catherine Nicholas.
Nurul Izzah offered bail at RM10,000 with conditions that the accused must appear at a police station weekly.
Gnasegaran asked for a lower bail and stressed that the purpose of the bail was to secure the attendance of the accused.
"Our client had been cooperating with the police. Normal bail for these kind of cases are RM4,000 to RM5,000," he said.
Catherine then set bail at RM7,000 with one surety and fixed August 23 for mention.
