Henry Gurney school for 2 teenagers

PETALING JAYA: The Magistrate’s Court here today ordered two teenagers to be sent to Henry Gurney School for possession of stolen property worth RM1,500 belonging to a kindergarten.

Magistrate Nurulhuda Zakariya also ordered the young offenders to remain at the reform school until they are 20 years old, under Section 91(1)(f) of the Child Act 2001.

The stolen items including a printer and two sets of loudspeakers were found in a Proton Iswara in front of Sekolah Kafa Integrasi Al-Raudah, Puchong Prima here at 5.30 am on April 12.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Khairul Najib Mohd Azman, 20, pleaded guilty to the same charge and was fined RM1,000 or one month’s jail.

The two teenagers also pleaded guilty to possession of two television sets owned by a kindergarten in Puchong, at a house in Jalan Jurutera, Kg Sri Puchong here at 11.45 am on April 12.

Another 20-year-old youth, Muhammad Husairi Muhammad Paizuddin pleaded guilty to committing the offence jointly with the duo. The court set Nov 2 for sentencing, pending his probation report.

Deputy public prosecutor Abu Arsalnaa Zainal Abidin appeared for the prosecution while Muhammad Husairi was represented by counsel Datin Raj Preet Kaur. The others were unrepresented. — BERNAMA
