JOHOR BARU: Police have picked up 17 people, including eight women, over a brawl at a seafood restaurant in Stulang Laut on Saturday.

Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd said initial investigations showed the brawl was started by a drunken man following an argument.

Those arrested were aged between 20 and 50, including several Vietnamese women.

Khalil said a special taskforce team was set up to locate the suspects after a video of the fight went viral.
