She allegedly posted a photo of a Chinese woman with a "Kalimah Allah" tattoo on her social media account.
Federal police secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said the suspect had been remanded for three days until May 26 under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
"The case is being investigated by Bukit Aman's Classified Crime Investigation Unit under Section 298A of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998," she said in a statement today.
Noorsiah reminded the public to respect the Federal Constitution and avoid making sensitive comments or posts on social media that involved race, religion or royalty that could disrupt peace and harmony
"Any individual or party found to have deliberately caused any sort of unrest and disruption will be dealt with accordingly."
