KUALA LUMPUR: A husband-and-wife couple, who are also social media influencers, were detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today.
According to Buletin TV3, the couple were detained at 6.40pm to assist in investigations after previously collecting donations exceeding millions of ringgit.
It is alleged that the money was not channeled to the intended recipients.
According to a source, the couple will be brought to the Putrajaya magistrate's court at 9am tomorrow for a remand application.
