Cops still waiting for Farah Kartini's post-mortem report

PETALING JAYA: Police are still awaiting the completed post-mortem report to determine the cause of death of murdered Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the police had not received the full report from Sungai Buloh Hospital's forensic department.

"We are still waiting for the post-mortem report from the hospital," he told reporters after witnessing the disposal of case items at the Ara Damansara police station on Wednesday.

Nur Farah Kartini went missing on July 11.

The victim, who worked at a car rental company, was delivering a rental car to a customer in a residential area in Tanjung Malim around 8am on July 10.

She was seen leaving in a red car after completing the delivery.

Her body was found near Felda Gedangsa in Hulu Selangor around 6pm on July 15.

A police lance corporal was arrested in connection with the murder.

Muhammad Alif Monjani, a 26-year-old police lance corporal has since been charged at the Kuala Kubu Baru magistrate's court here with the murder.
