KUALA LUMPUR: An African national was killed in a shootout with the police in Bandar Sunway earlier this evening.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan when contacted by Harian Metro confirmed the 7pm incident.
"The suspect was shot by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) team.
"He is believed to be an African man who was suspected to be involved in a number of robberies," he said.
Meanwhile, checks at the scene found that the investigation and forensic teams were present at the location.
Also seen at the scene was the CID director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain.
