KUALA LUMPUR: A foreigner has been remanded for seven days over the attempted murder of two housemates.
The 31-year-old suspect is believed to have injured the two victims with a knife and a wooden stick during an altercation at their residence.
With help from the Bukit Aman forensic team, Ampang Jaya police seized a knife, two wooden sticks and two pieces of clothing to aid in the investigation.
The suspect tested negative for drugs.
The two victims were taken to Ampang Hospital for treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder. It provides for up to 20 years' jail, if convicted.
