HULU SELANGOR: A man with 16 criminal records was shot dead last night following a shootout with police on Jalan Bandar Bukit Beruntung, Rawang.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the incident took place at 9.30pm.
"A team from the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department engaged in a gunfight with the 36-year-old suspect.
"The suspect, who also had a criminal history involving drugs, is believed to have refused to stop his vehicle and fired shots at the police," he said in a statement today.
