City Hall seizes seven stalls operated by foreigners in Bandar Tun Razak

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) seized seven stalls belonging to foreign hawkers in Bandar Tun Razak here.

The stalls in Desa Tasik and Jalan Tasik Selatan 20, Bandar Tasik Selatan, were shuttered under the UUK 3(1) provision of the Hawker Licencing By-Laws (WPKL) 2016 for conducting business without a licence.

City Hall, in a Facebook post, said its Enforcement Department and the Bandar Tun Razak branch personnel confiscated plastic tables, chairs, canopies, gas cylinders and other equipment in an operation.

The items were sent to City Hall's seizure store in Jalan Lombong, Taman Miharja Cheras, for documentation and further action.

City Hall said it would carry out a series of operations across 11 parliamentary constituencies in the city as part of its enforcement and monitoring process.
