KUALA LUMPUR: The roof of Tenom police station in Sabah was blown away by strong winds yesterday (Sept 17).
No one was injured in the 3.30pm incident.
When contacted, Tenom police chief Deputy Superintendent Ediansha Endal confirmed that the police station was severely damaged in the incident.
"Fortunately no one was injured in the incident", he said, adding police officers and staff were on-site to monitor the situation and control security of the premises.
A minute-long video clip of the incident made its rounds on various social media platforms.
Footage showed the police station's roof being blown across the road, narrowly missing a few vehicles which were passing through the stretch road at the time.
