KUALA NERUS: A handwritten note containing a warning was found when the police raided a luxury bungalow, believed to be rented by members of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB), in Kampung Mengabang Panjang in Bukit Rakit here last Saturday.
'Musuh-musuh kena tunggu di akhirat kerana yang kami hadapi di dunia, di sana lagi dahsyat berlipat kali ganda' (Our enemies must wait in the afterlife because what we face in this world will be far worse there, many times over), the note read.
Terengganu Islamic Affairs Department (JHEAT) Enforcement Division chief assistant commissioner Aizi Saidi Abdul Aziz confirmed to Berita Harian the discovery of the note, which was found when the police raided the premises.
The note, he said, was left by followers of the entity, who fled before the raid was conducted.
"The luxury beachfront bungalow is believed to have been rented by GISB followers, and the area in front of the premises has been used as a horse-riding training centre since the end of December.
"Based on intelligence and complaints from local residents, the open area in front of the luxury bungalow was used by GISB to train youths in horse riding," he said.
Aizi Saidi, however, said the police operation did not involve enforcement officers from JHEAT, as all the premises, including the horse-riding training centre, were unoccupied.
"Checks also showed there were no charitable homes linked to GISB operating in the state," he said.
Aizi Saidi said that based on information and intelligence gatherings, there were 13 horses used in the area to train youths as well as women.
