MACHANG: The remand order for a religious school headmaster, who is suspected of having links with Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB), has been extended by another three days, starting tomorrow until Wednesday.
The remand extension was made at the magistrate's court here before magistrate Amal Razim Alias.
The 66-year-old is being investigated under Section 8(2) of the Printing and Publishing Act 1984.
The suspect was represented by a National Legal Aid Foundation lawyer, Siti Zuraidah Abdul Aziz.
Earlier, the media reported that the headmaster was remanded for four days from Sept 26 until today.
The man was picked up during a raid carried out at Sekolah Rendah Integrasi Ikhwan in Pasir Puteh about 11am on Sept 25.
Police seized 34 banned books related to the Abuya deviant group from the school.
